Pick an aroma profile and the same beans give you a different cup: Dynamic highlights fruity notes and gentle acidity (ideal for 100% arabica), Constant is the balanced everyday classic, and Intense delivers a strong chocolatey taste for espresso and milk drinks. The NICR and CUBE lines offer 3 profiles, the new NIVO 8000/9000 generation up to 5 (adding Harmonic — a soft, rounded taste with no bitterness, and Quick — a fresh, light coffee).

The SPUMATORE frother prepares fine, dense milk foam straight into the cup for a cappuccino or latte macchiato. The DUOplus version can froth milk for two cups at once, and the system rinses itself after every drink. The result is café-style creamy foam with zero effort.

The hardened-steel conical grinder mills the beans gently and evenly, so they keep their full aroma. Thanks to thorough soundproofing it is among the quietest on the market — you can make your morning coffee without waking the whole household.

Nivona's core extraction technology: freshly ground coffee is compacted in a brewing chamber with a flexible piston and infused with water at 76–94 °C. The pressure expands the chamber slightly and swirls the water through the coffee — rather than simply passing through, it actively releases aromas and oils. The result comes close to the quality of a portafilter espresso machine. Aromatica determines HOW the coffee is brewed; the Aroma Balance System adds the choice of flavor profile on top.

Crema is the fine, golden foam of micro-bubbles, oils and carbon dioxide that only forms under high pressure during extraction. A pump delivering up to 15 bar, together with freshly ground beans, creates it reliably in every cup. It is the mark of a properly made espresso and carries most of its aroma.

The CLARIS filter removes limescale and impurities from the water before it even enters the machine. It protects the inside of the machine from scale build-up and extends its life, while the coffee tastes cleaner. The machine itself tells you when it is time to replace the filter.

In the energy-saving ECO mode the machine cuts its consumption, and on standby it draws almost no power. You save money and the environment without giving up quick preparation. Once switched on, the machine is ready again in a moment.
