Ceramic burrs transfer almost no heat into the coffee and, unlike metal ones, never rust. They cut the beans gently instead of breaking them, so the coffee keeps its full aroma. The whole grinding assembly can be taken apart and washed with water — the grinder stays perfectly clean.
More even grinding in the Plus version
Compared with the original model, the Skerton Plus has a stronger grinding shaft and a stabilizer plate that holds the lower burr firmly on its axis. The burr doesn't wobble during grinding, so the particles are more even — you'll notice the difference most at coarser settings for French press or cold brew.
Grinds for the whole table in one go
The hopper takes up to 100 grams of beans — enough for a large French press or several cups of filter coffee at once. The ground coffee falls into a jar of heat-resistant glass with a non-slip silicone base that keeps the grinder steady on the table. The glass parts are dishwasher-safe.
From fine filter to coarse cold brew
You set the grind size with a nut under the burrs — from finer grinding for filter coffee to coarse for French press and cold brew. The setting holds, so there's no retuning before every grind. The crank detaches, which makes the grinder easy to stow at home or on the road.
